HSBC OPENS BRANCH IN LAHORE, EXTENDING ITS PRESENCE ACROSS PAKISTAN
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited opened its Lahore branch, increasing HSBC presence in Pakistan to three branches.
This full service branch located at building No 3-A,Zahoor Elahi Road,Gulberg II just off the main boulevard,is in the heart of Lahore prime commercial and residential area and provides a full range of Personal Banking and Corporate Banking products and services.
The branch,which is also equipped with a 24-hour ATM facility,was inaugurated by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the honorable Chief Minister, Government of Punjab. Present on the occasion were Mr. Muhammad Tahir Sadiq Chief Executive Officer HSBC Pakistan and other senior management members of the bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said: It gives me great pleasure to inaugurate the HSBC Lahore branch. With the present economic growth opportunities prevalent in the country it is encouraging that large international banks like HSBC are expanding operations in Punjab and Pakistan as a whole. HSBC now has a presence in two cities in Pakistan, with two branches in Karachi, and one in Lahore.
