You have access to a range of international services as and when you need them. Alongside International Account Opening (if you are relocating) you'll also have access to Emergency Assistance in over 8,500 branches worldwide.

If you’re living or working abroad for any length of time, you’ll need a bank account to make things easier. With HSBC Advance, you can open an account in the country you’re moving to before you’ve even set off. Not only will the account be waiting for you when you arrive, so will your credit history.

If you are relocating, our staff can arrange to open overseas HSBC accounts for you before you even leave for your new country.
We can advise you of your new account number within 3 business days. Your account will be opened and your account pack, including a cheque book1, ATM card, Credit Card* and related Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) - will be ready within 10 business days.
To ensure your move is as smooth as possible, we can, transfer your credit history from your originating country to facilitate access to similar levels of credit in the overseas country#.
A dedicated international officer will be assigned to manage the entire process of establishing your accounts in the new country. Upon a successful transfer, a local Relationship Manager will contact you to ensure that you have settled in and to provide assistance wherever necessary.
